Getting your data out
Open the Settings tab and tap Export to save your log as a CSV file, to bring to an appointment or keep for yourself. Choose where to save or send the file through your device’s share sheet. With Plainlog+, you can export a formatted PDF summary.
Moving to a new device
Plainlog does not have an import or restore feature. There is no way to load a CSV or PDF export back into the app. Your log moves to a new phone the same way any app’s data does: through your device’s own backup. On iOS that is iCloud Backup; on Android it is Android Auto Backup. Whether it is switched on is set in your phone’s Settings app, not inside Plainlog. Plainlog cannot see or change that setting. If it is on, setting up your new phone from that backup brings your log with it. If it is off, or you are moving between iOS and Android, there is currently no way to carry your log across. Exporting a copy beforehand is the only record you will have.

Do I need an account?
No. Plainlog has no accounts and no sign-in.
Where is my data?
On your device, in a single local file. See the Privacy Policy for the full explanation, including what your device’s own backup does with it.
I lost or replaced my phone.
If iCloud Backup or Android Auto Backup was on, setting up the new phone from that backup brings your log with it. If it was off and you didn’t export, the data is gone.
I deleted the app without exporting.
On iOS, reinstalling does not bring your data back: iCloud Backup only restores when you set up a phone. On Android, Auto Backup can restore your log on reinstall, if it was switched on. Plainlog has no copy of its own and no server copy to fall back on.
Is there a subscription?
Plainlog+ is offered as an annual or a monthly auto-renewing subscription, billed through your Apple ID or Google Play account. Plainlog does not process payment directly. The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; the monthly plan does not. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your device’s subscription settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions on iOS, or the Play Store’s Subscriptions page on Android); cancelling stops the next renewal, and access continues until the current period ends.
Which medications does Plainlog support?
Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy, Rybelsus), tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound), dulaglutide (Trulicity), liraglutide (Victoza, Saxenda) and orforglipron (Foundayo), tablet or injection. You can also log any other GLP-1 medication by name; estimated levels are available only for the medications listed here.
Does Plainlog work offline?
Yes. Logging, history, charts and export work in airplane mode. Plainlog has no server to connect to.
Is Plainlog available now?
Yes, for iPhone on the App Store. Plainlog is not yet available on Android.
